GH5188 alloy is a solution-strengthened cobalt-based superalloy, mainly composed of cobalt (Co), nickel (Ni), chromium (Cr), tungsten (W) and trace lanthanum (La) and other elements, with an application temperature of less than 1100 °C. With high temperature oxidation resistance, creep resistance, good forming and welding properties, the material can still have the ultimate strength of 1045MPa, the yield strength of 550MPa and the tensile rate of 29.1% after being exposed to 650°C for 8000h, which is widely used in the manufacture of high-temperature parts in the aerospace field.
GH5188 performance and characteristics
1、High temperature oxidation resistance
GH5188 alloy can maintain good stability in extremely high temperature environment, and has excellent oxidation and corrosion resistance. This allows it to maintain outstanding performance at high temperatures for a long time.
2、Excellent creep properties at high temperatures
GH5188 alloy has good creep strength and ductility at high temperature, and can withstand constant stress for a long time at high temperature without plastic deformation, ensuring the stability and reliability of parts. It is an ideal material for high-temperature components such as gas turbine blades.
3、Good processability
GH5188 alloy powder can be prepared into parts of various shapes by a variety of processing methods, such as powder metallurgy forming, sintering, hot isostatic pressing, etc.
4、Good fatigue resistance
GH5188 alloy has high fatigue resistance, can maintain good strength and reliability under cyclic loading conditions, cope with complex vibrations and loads, and prolong the service life of components.
5、Solderability
Alloy powders can be joined and repaired by appropriate welding processes, making them more flexible and versatile in practical applications.
